Instructions for Crochet Edges
Lace & Waves
Row 1: sc in each hole all the way around. Ss to join.
Row 2: ch5, (this is 1 dc and 2 ch), dc in the same stitch. Skip 2 stitches and * dc in the third stitch, ch 2, dc in the same stitch*. Repeat * to *, ss to join. (This makes a row of triangles, every other one inverted.)
Row3: (You will only be working in the upper flat part of the triangles.)
*1st upper triangle – sc
2nd upper triangle – 3 dc
3rd upper triangle – 4 tr
4th upper triangle – 3 dc*
Repeat * to *, ss to join. Finish off.
Hugs and Kisses
Row 1: sc in the first hole, ch 3. Sc in the hole to the right of the one you sc in. Skip over the hole you sc in and also skip the next hole (you should be moving left). *ch 3, sc in the skipped hole to the right. Moving left, skip the sc and the next hole, sc in the next hole*. Repeat * to * around. Finish off.
Triangles & Arches
Row 1: sc in each hole all the way around. Ss to join.
Row 2: ch5, (this is 1 dc and 2ch), dc in the same stitch. Skip 2 stitches and * dc in the third stitch, ch 2, dc in the same stitch *. Repeat * to *, ss to join. (This makes a row of triangles, every other one inverted).
Row 3: *3 dc in the upper flat part of the first (inverted) triangle, then 1 sc in the point of the second (upright) triangle *, repeat from * to *, ss to join. Finish off.
Lacy Loops
Row 1: sc in each hole all the way around. Ss to join.
Row 2: Ch 6,*yo, insert hook in the same sc, yo (you will now have 3 loops on your hook), yo and draw through 2 loops on hook, (leaving 2 loops on hook), yo, skip next sc, insert hook in next sc, yo. (you will now have 4 stitches on your hook), yo and draw through all 4 stitches, ch3 repeat from * around; (ending, do not do the last ch 3 join with a ss to the third ch, finish off.

Basic Picot
Row 1: sc in each hole all the way around. Ss to join.
Row 2: sc in each previous sc. (This row is optional) Ss to join.
Row 3: Chain 1, *sc in next 3 stitches. Chain 3, sc in next stitch. Repeat from *
